bloopers before and on work

I stayed all night in our workplace which we call "batcave" to finish the work we left. It is so exhausting because I didn't sleep the whole night and I still have a work later on the day. Luckily! it is also our pay day so we agreed to eat outside and treat ourselves in "penongs". We ordered inato meals and sisig, after eating we rested outside and smoke a cigarette because our stomach is full and we can't barely walk.

After eating I decided to go home to get clothes because I don't have any extra shirt in our hideout for work later on. I brought with me 2 shirts,1 jeans, and also the most important, is my underwear. When I arrive in our hideout I saw my friends fedgeshacks and cold transfer fixing a computer because one of our computer is not working properly.

It was almost 6:30 in the evening and my shift starts on 8:00pm so I told both of my friends to go take a bath and so we can prepare for work. I already took a bath at home that is why I was just waiting for the two to finish taking a bath. I did not change clothes because I don't want to smell sweat while waiting for them. They have already changed clothes for work and all set up. I was changing clothes and am on the act to pt on my jeans. OMG! I mistakenly brought a wrong jeans, it wasn't my jeans but my brothers.

Both of them also did not bring extra pants that's why I don't have anything to wear aside for my jogging pants. Even if it's against my will I was forced to go to work wearing jogging pants instead of jeans.It makes me look like a walking clown because I was wearing a jogging pants and is paired with a leather shoes. As I am walking towards the companies entrance I saw some people staring like crazy and grinning as if they were tickled by a thousand demons. At first, it makes me quite uncomfortable, but the heck!? I'm popular, simple as saying a celebrity. I bet nobody had dared to go to work wearing the same outfit I'm wearing.

I thought my nightmare would end because I was already inside the workplace and is ready for work, but I was wrong. My supervisor approached me and gave me something to sign with. I really thought that the paper that gave me is for termination. Luckily, it's not for termination but an NTE (Notice to Explain) for my consecutive absences and late. (phwew I was saved) I think calling a thousand saints really did work.

I will really not forget these incidents because this unexpected things will serves as a lesson fo me to always be ready for consequences, whether for worse or for better.

Filipino wierd delicacies

Me and my friends had rented a house for us to have our own office. After work we go directly to the house which we have rented and we call it "The batcave" because it's somewhat out hideout at the same time our work place. Early in the morning after I woke up and my friend "Agent cold transfer" is already awake and we were so hungry, there was no food to eat and no coffee to drink. We decided to go outside and find a carenderia for us to eat. When we are walking outside suddenly something caught my eyes, OMG! there was a dog resting inside a chicken cage. Well! we all know that some Filippo mostly in rural areas prefer Dog delicacies, it's really quite weird right!? But what I have in mind right now after I saw the dog is that, maybe some Filipino think that dog is like a chicken that's why they eat it.

My family's hometown is in north cotabato(F. cajelo). In some area in our hometown there is a specific delicacy and that is a "batud" or a baby Beatle. Me and my mother had gone to the upper part of "F, cajelo" to visit our relatives. As I was wandering the place I saw a man cutting down a coconut tree, I go nearer to him to see what he's doing. I saw him cutting the coconut tree in half, and guess what!? there's a batud on it and he's getting the batud form the coconut tree. I ask him what he'll gonna do to the batud. He said that they'll gonna make it a finger food for their drink. The man said that batud is really good for a finger food because you need not to cook it because it's already sweet and you just need to put a vinegar on it. Maybe that is why batud is sweet because it's iving on a coconut tree and a coconut is sweet.

I believe all of us have already eaten chicken or pork adobo because it's one of the famous Filipino delicacy,but I doubt that you have eaten a snake adobo. I myself is not fond on eating exotic food, but my uncle lemuel have gone to the forest to hunt and he had gotten a cobra. I wonder if they'll gonna keep it as a pet of sell it. On my surprise mu uncle killed the snake because they'll cook it. At first I was disgusted because I really don't eat these kind of food. But because of my curiosity I was pushed to taste it, and guess what?! it tasted so good. If only you'll not know what you are not eating I bet you won't really know that you're eating a snake.

This things are just some of many exotic foods Filipino have. Majority of us may not know or eat this kind of food, but still these kind of delicacies are existing on rural areas. It may sound disgusting but I guess for us to know we just need to taste it and decide if we like it or not.

What's fun on having a new name

Me and my fiends are fond of giving names to evey person that interests our eyes. Those names came from a character of a movie or a famous actor and actresses. We enjoy calling them names but still we make sure that only us will know about it and so that it will not be offensive to those whom we are calling names. These things that we're doing may sound stupid to others but in our own simple ways and without offending others it brings joy to us.

We have a team mate whom we named "kraken", It came from the latest movie "clash of the Titans". We named her Kraken because we can associate the kraken to her based on her personality, a beastly creature that acts instinctively.

We have met a lovely girl who is on training to become a call center agent on our current company. She is so hot, pretty, long legged, long hair, kissable lips, chery like chick bones, but most of all her eyes which you can compare to a heavenly being. She is so beautiful that we can't take our eyes of her that s why we named her " Eye of the Tiger", an eye of a animal which is ready to do ambush.

Whenever me and my friends are on the floor taking calls, we find ways to do chitchat and have fun, While we are talking suddenly all of our eyes were pointing to a one lady, OMG! she is so gorgeous while she were walking towards her station. One of our friends approach her to know her better and know whats?! the gorgeous lady that she approached has a big load, a big
load which she can show off and be proud of. So then after that we called her " the coconut nut.

We Thought that if we are so fond of making names to others, why not make names for ourselves. Our Alias is associated with being a call center agent and to be specific, it's how we deal with our phone(avaya). But I have also have a another alias which everybody on the production floor calls me. I am more comfortable when they call me by my alias "Baby Bear" rather than calling me with my real name "robert" because it's unique and it's fun

Life of a call center agent

My life as a call center agent is not easy. There are many things that I needed to sacrifice in order to cope up with my work.

I sacrificed my social life, I a person who loves to go out with my friends can't go out with them because their nightlife is my working hours and morning is there school time. what a world of boredom.

I even sacrificed my love life which frustrates me the most because my girlfriend left me due to lack of time I spent with her, she felt not being cared and loved by me. But then I cannot blame her with her decision because I admit that I can't give more time due to the situation I am right now. Instead of me spending my time with my girlfriend I spend my time facing computer which makes me feel like vomiting.

At least I have my call center friends which make me somewhat happy because we share the same frustrations and comfort each other during down time. They're like family to me, they're the one which you can lean on because they are the one whom who are with you always

Some says that call center is great because we have high salary and comfortable working place. But well I doubt it! because if call centers are great why does call centers hire people as many as possible? it is because they loose there people fast. call center environment is a fast moving company which means people needs to spend more time to pass metrics. Pressure is a routine on a daily basis

Always remember that more benefits comes more sacrifices. Call center is good due to higher salary but less pressure working environment is better. Well! less pressure environment is better because it's less stress which leads to less frustrations.
